That jumpscare hit hard ๐ญ I wasnโt even ready. I legit thought someone actually broke into my place for a second lol. Also, this episode reminds of Kanekiโs transformation in Season 1. Back then, Kaneki accepted Rize (after their confrontation) and became the white-haired ghoul. This time, Haise faces little Kaneki and starts to confront his true identity as Kaneki (the person he was before everything changed). Both transformations were triggered by torture; one was about him accepting his ghoul side, and the other is about reclaiming his true identity as Kaneki. Thought this was a great comparison between the two scenes.
