Kuro's plan does make sense, if you understand what he's actually after. He wants a calm and peaceful life, yes, but he wants to enjoy it in a big ass mansion with tons of money. 😉That's why Kaya needs to die in an "accident", after she put him in her will, so he can take over her wealth without disrupting the peace he wants to continue to live in. In a world with all kinds of crazy evil villains, who have all kinds kf crazy evil ambitions about conquering islands, nations or the entire world, it's refreshing to see someone like Kuro. All he wants, is to kick back and be a normal, but rich, dude. Damn you Luffy! 🤣

2025-05-04 02:24:48 +0000 UTCThe pacing isn't really as bad as everyone claims, it's mostly noticeable only after the 2nd time you've watched the series. There is also very little to criticize about the series, so people tend to hyper-focus on that one aspect. I'd doubt you'd notice it at all until much later if people weren't constantly pointing it out to first time viewers. Toei has done an amazing job with the anime adaptation over the years, ESPECIALLY considering how many manga are absolutely butchered by their animated counterparts. The voice acting, musical scores, and comedic timing are all 10/10. (Comedic timing is something that is quite often very poorly done in other anime and rarely given any consideration) Even the animation is great when compared to other series airing at the same time, maybe not always the best, but definitely still done well.

2025-05-02 17:14:51 +0000 UTCI love this kind of 2000s animation. I don’t know, I feel like even though it’s not as HD as modern stuff, it has more detail in shadows, faces, and so on. If you watch a modern seasonal anime nowadays, the skin looks too "clean," like plastic. This one feels more "rough," I guess because it was hand-drawn, and now everything’s done on computers. I bet you felt the same way too, like before you started watching Naruto, you said you thought you wouldn’t like it because it was old and you were worried about the animation, but it seems like you like it now xD.
