That whole scene is just so goodike, the king really thinks he’s all about power, but then BOOM, feelings he wasn’t ready for!! 😭 The way he tries to hype himself up to kill Komugi, only to immediately drop everything to help her?? 🥰 Thanks for sharing your thoughts!! i never thought that he is so young, it feels so weird since hes so damn smart

2025-03-09 05:59:51 +0000 UTC1. About morel's "poison", every person inhales O2 (oxygen) and exhales CO2 (Carbon Dioxide). Morel just breathed in, then out. The narrator just pointed out that due to his insane lung capacity, he inhaled a lot of oxygen and exhaled more carbon dioxide into the air. 2. About the King's name, getting a little lost in the plot. Remember back during the Queen's surgery it was explained that by the time the hunters came to try to help the queen, the royal guard and king had been gone for quite a while. Meaning the royal guard & king have absolutely no idea the king was named. The only ones that do know are the more docile, less evil ants that stayed after the queen's grave injury & the hunters present for her surgery. She did name him, it is Meruem.

2025-03-09 04:12:10 +0000 UTCOh, Chapter 108 has one of my favorite scenes. To start, let’s remember that the king is a newborn. He’s literally just days old. He’s acting driven by instinct: the instinct to dominate everything and be the king. But also, as we’ve seen, he’s an intelligent creature, and he’s learning. First, he questions his own identity when he realizes he doesn’t have a name after Komugi asks him about it. He goes to ask his royal guards, and after their response, it seems like he reflects on his games with Komugi, her talent, and everything she did; he killed an innocent child, extinguished her potential, and we think he regrets it—but no! He reaffirms that this means his POWER is the greatest power of all, the power to crush any potential. Then, riding that high, he sets off to kill Komugi. In the hallway, we see him wondering whether he should kill her or not. We see him trying to CONVINCE HIMSELF that he must kill her, that it’s easy to do, that he’s going to do it. He’s just trying to deceive himself, something very human. But when he arrives and sees her injured by a bird, he doesn’t hesitate to help her, to worry about her. To cap off the scene, he’s left totally confused, wondering what this feeling is and what he’s going to do with it. Magnificent
