It's a small glimpse into his newly gained maturity and skill when it comes to close quarters fighting, I just remember seeing this episode when it came out and thinking Naruto was such a badass from this point on lol.

Also i don't think the feudal lord knows Naruto at all but they know Danzo very well. Thats why Danzo is hokage because he have a close relationship with them. I mean the 3 of them ploted and use Itachi to get rid of the Uchiha clan.
