The reason people like his character is due to how he was allowed to develop and follow his natural path of thinking based upon his experiences. That is to say he went from being a coward to being someone willing to fight, kill and die for a cause. In a way you can say that he absorbed the braveness and commitment to ideals exhibited by his dead friend Marlo, Mr. Bowl Cut, in the same way Jean did with Marco. In short, his character wasn't subverted by Isayama to make him more likeable and agreeable to satisfy his own moral world view or that of the viewers. Floch was given the freedom to grow into who he is warts and all. That is what makes a great character in the same league as Gabi. And yes Floch is 100% team Eren. Even though in season 3 him and Eren didn't get along to well because of what he said to Armin. That being said, Floch and Eren at some point must of had a conversation where they each realized they both shared the same goals and vision for the people of Paradis. P.S. If Armin would of transformed he would of damaged/destroyed the flying boat and pier. Never mind also probably killing Conny and everyone nearby. That and he was committed to not killing anyone.

2024-07-27 20:38:05 +0000 UTCIceburst stone is the ore thats solely found on Paradis Island. Its the stuff used to fuel ODM Gear. Hizuru was trying to get that ore to make money out of it. Not sure if you remember when they were talking to Mikasa about it. Also Zeke was the one that told the Azumabito Clan that that ore is on pardis island. The Clan was also tasked to create that flying boat and use Iceburst to fuel it :)

2024-07-27 18:46:51 +0000 UTCThat two guys are samuel that hasbeen help by sasha in ss1 ep4 when collosal titan appeared, and daze who has been saved by yumir and crista in ss2 ep5, They are friends in 104th too! That why this ep so impact. And about Froch , I like his character develop. From coward to brave and leadership. Even he have so much ambitious and violent, But he is really the one who heard Erwin speech. That survive. He knew the pain of titan from previous and developed himself so far, Think as him who closest dead and violent and suffer from titan and lose his friends. I very like him. If we are eldian we needthe guys like him to fight for us. Nice reaction !
