You kinda have to put yourself in the commanders shoes along with the rest of the soldiers. The walls have stood for 100 years, they know little to nothing about the titans or where they come from, they slaughter and consume people in horrendous ways. And now within 5 years of the wall first being broken and now, The colossal titan and armored titan are now in play. The fact the walls were breached is an unimaginable feat. And now during a breach one of the new cadets can also turn into a titan and no one knew. The idea of one of those creatures hidden among the soldiers is a horrifying thought and could very well be the reason mankind goes extinct. Though his voice annoys the shit out of me.
