Hello everyone. This release contains updated glute g-force morphs, and all new g-force morphs for calves and upper arms, plus a few fixes.
The updated glute morphs are the first result of a new DAZ workflow for creating high quality morphs for animation. This workflow is the handiwork of a 3d artist/modeler that I've been exchanging ideas with and received some very valuable advice from for months now. I'll get into more details about that collaboration in a future post 🙂
The new set of glute morphs achieve a better result with fewer morphs than the previous set, due to being much better quality and having more consistent and smooth geometry. However I still consider them an incremental improvement - the shape could be improved further, and there are still issues with the overall glute shape. Some of these issues are due to the leg's angle relative to the hip (and are potentially fixable with joint angle driven morphs). Other issues relate to the way g-force morphs for different directions combine and result in unintended shapes; these probably require some new solutions.
Simple but effective morphs for each direction of force. Not much else to say here, see the video.
fixed a longstanding issue where breasts would be incorrectly calibrated and distorted on scene load
this would occur when the user had soft physics disabled in user preferences when loading the scene, but the scene was saved with soft physics enabled (or vice versa)
now, if this discrepancy is detected, the plugin goes through the full calibration on scene load
fixed issue where changing timescale would cause VAM to recalculate soft physics settings and hard collider masses, radiuses etc., overriding the plugin's settings
the timescale change is now detected and the plugin re-applies its own settings
