February Poll! Scenes and the Update Time
Added 2024-02-03 23:37:18 +0000 UTCIt’s time for one of the most important game development decisions. In the last episodes we added several different type scenes. It gave us more interesting and cool formats, yet this content takes more work, so the episode release time is now significantly longer than before.
So here you should decide which scene types we should have in the future episodes. Note: the more complicated scenes will lengthen the episode production by months, so we want to find the balance between the content and update period.
This will affect all the coming scenes and episode release time, so choose carefully.
Which scene types we have:
- Static scene (Lina and the Wolf, threesome in the forest) - all frames are static. Takes 1.5 month to make.
- Simple animated scene (the beach date with Naira) - all frames are based on one animation. Takes twice more time than the first option: 3 months.
- Multi animated scene (the remastered cellar scene with Naira) - has several angles and different animations. Takes twice more time than the simple one, so six months per scene.
- Repeated scene (the Lina’s kitchen scene we shared on this site) - use the existing animation as a base but with a different girl, text, and plot. The repeated scene this way will take much less time than usual animated one, just two months instead of three.
Below are two blocks, choose one answer for each.
The options we have for each episode content:
1. Only static scenes (3 months update)
2. One animated and one static per episode (4-5 months)
3. All scenes animated (over 6 months)
And the animated scenes can be:
1. Reused (sometimes, not too often); the existing animation for a different scene and girl
2. One animation base per scene (no reusing)
3. Several animations in only the important scenes (like dates)
4. Several different animations in each animated scene
PS: if multiple choice isn’t working try the browser version instead of the app.

Happy to see the results so far. Definitely worth the wait to make the game better

2024-02-27 23:29:47 +0000 UTCI'd say go all in and have all scenes animated with several animations per scene. RPG Maker games lack good animations to begin with so why not break the meta a bit. =3
