2024-10-14 16:16:03 +0000 UTCI wrote this in Dec of 2020 and by no means am I a poet, but I felt the need to jot it down in my notepad. And just like in the video there really was no escaping the void for me, just slowly learning to accept certain parts of myself. I’m still crashing on the couch but I’m not curled up in fetal position crying anymore. Anyways here’s my awful poem. He stares into the void, fascinated by the emptiness and loneliness that lies within. He thinks how awful it would be within that infinite darkness. Fear overtakes him all at once as he realizes he’s been looking within himself the entire time. A life lived absent of the love he desires, craves, and felt he deserved. Desperation takes hold, gripping and suffocating. Gasping for breath, but there is no escaping his own existence. Slowly sinking with no one to call to. As he stares into the void he sees himself staring back, broken and consumed.
