What a month!
Added 2020-02-28 11:00:00 +0000 UTCHey hey! Just wanted to put a quick note here thanking everyone for the support this month -- there's so many new people here! It was quite a risk to raise the min pledge up to $2 and start doing the wrestling docs again exclusively on here...but so far it really seems to be paying off. I can't wait to make more of them -- this month's been such a great energiser for the vids in general, and we seem to be doing well across the board!
There's lots planned for March. I have some cool looks planned in the short term at things like European exclusives for various platforms, conversions from the UK micros to the NES/Famicom, a rather silly old controller that I've bought, amongst various other things. People really seem to respond great to these videos, even if perhaps they aren't as intense as say, a documentary is. Speaking of documentaries, we're still hitting those up -- I'm going to start work on a much-requested look at the story and games of Telecomsoft, known for labels such as Firebird and Rainbird.
And of course, the end of March will see another new wrestling documentary, concentrating on the exodus of stars from AJPW to form NOAH in 2000. We're pretty close to finished on the writing for this one, so I expect it'll be an awesome one. Hopefully you all enjoy it! I also hope to see more of the existing $1 patrons join the fun too -- I'm not much of a pusher, but these vids are most certainly passion projects and this is the best place for them. :)
