Chapter 256 [Vault]

Title - GOT: The Wolf of War | Chapter 7 | Futanari

__________________________________________________

[3rd POV] [2 Days Later] [20 Years since the Birth of Cregan Stark | 9 Years before the fall of the Targaryen Dynasty]

After sending the letter to her father through one of her crows, Cregan knew that they’d be waiting for her, and that she needed to make sure to get home within two days. As any longer and it would be an insult to them, to make them wait even longer than they already have.

And so, she was currently walking alongside three of her fifty wolves, the rest of them stalking the forests that she has passed through, given the order to create packs of their own, and hunt within reason.

The wolves that stood with her were Odin, his mate Frigga, and their eldest son Thor. All of them were named after Norse Gods, and the nicknames fit each of them quite well.

Walking through the forest, she stopped, as she saw in the distance her destination. Her crows showed her clearly that Winterfell was not far, and with it, her family that she had not seen in so very long.

Reaching into her pocket, she handed a small paper to one of her ravens as it flew towards Winterfell. A smile on her face as she continued to walk, prepared to see her family after so very long.

[Winterfell]

At the same time, Winterfell was currently in…chaos. Ever since the Lord and Lady Stark had gotten the letter from Cregan, they had been preparing to see their daughter. From renovating and cleaning her room, to preparing a proper feast for her, thinking she might be malnourished or something of the sort.

Of course, they didn’t know when she would actually arrive, but they estimated it would be in a few days. And their estimation was about to be proven correct.

At the same time, their children were…very very very lost.

“Mother, can you at least explain to us what is happening? You’re acting like Lyanna after she had cake that one time!” Brandon asked, as his mother was in the Great Hall, making sure the place was ready for her daughter, for…the tenth time.

Hearing the question of her son, Lyarra was going to tell him to not bother her at the moment, before stopping when she noticed that her other children were all standing there, even little Benjen.

“Yeah, what’s happening? You’re all acting like the King is coming to Winterfell or something!” Lyanna yelled, causing Lyarra to breath out.

“Do you remember the stories you’ve heard? The ones of your older sister?” Lyarra asked, as they all looked at her in surprise before nodding, while Benjen was a bit confused but nodded along with his siblings even though he had no idea what they were talking about.

He’s 4.

“You mean Cregan?” Brandon asked, as Lyarra nodded, before letting out a breath.

“Your sister, Cregan, is alive. And she’s returning home. Now, it has been many many years since your father and I have last seen her, and she has almost certainly been through some horrid things. So, we wish to give her the best possible greeting, okay?” Lyarra responded slowly so they’d understood as the three eldest looked at her in surprise.

“You mean I’m finally gonna meet big sis!?” Lyanna asked with sparkly eyes.

Lyarra looked at her daughter, trying to fight the urge to smile at what she had said.

“Yes, love. But, we have to prepare for her arrival” Lyarra responded, happy that her children all seemed so excited to see their eldest sister, even the quiet Ned looked excited at the prospect.

“Okay!” Lyanna responded with a grin, as Rickard walked in with an almost excited expression on his face, as he handed a letter over to Lyarra, who read it, her own face warping into excitement.

“Come children, your sister is arriving within the hour!” Lyarra said, excited to finally see her daughter after so very long.

The children followed after their mother excitedly, wondering what their big sister would look like.

Sitting in the courtyard of Winterfell, the Stark family stood for nearly an hour, as Lyanna grumbled and pouted, beginning to become fed up with standing still, as she…was not the type to stand in one place.

But eventually, they heard them. The gasps of shock from the crowds in Wintertown that were seeing the incoming form of Cregan.

Shouts of soldiers echoed as some threatened to pull their blades, but one shout from Rodrick and Rickard and they had stopped. The Starks glanced at where Cregan should be entering from in confusion, wondering what could possibly have been shown that would cause such a reaction.

And soon, they understood. As slowly, figures turned the corner into the courtyard. Three massive beasts of the wild, of immense prestige and power. Beasts that their family was connected to deeply, and the same beasts that they used as their sigil.

Direwolves. Two giant Direwolves, one larger than a horse, the other slightly larger than a pony, the final of them being larger than any normal dog.

And at the center of the three Direwolves was a tall woman. Easily towering over the women around her, with a toned muscular figure, and evident scarring. She had little to no development in her assets at the front, but her behind was quite a bit different, being bubbly while also having a bit of muscle to it.

All in all, she was…intimidating, and to the right woman, would be deemed as very very attractive.

Rickard and Lyarra looked at her in awe, at the sheer size of their daughter, at the way she walked through the courtyard with a calm smile on her face, as if hundreds of people weren’t gazing at her in shock and awe.

She was around the same height as her father, and that made her one of the tallest women in the entirety of the North, perhaps in the entirety of Westeros itself.

Walking towards her family, Cregan’s eyes glanced down at her siblings, a warm smile on her face as she caught Lyanna staring at her in awe. Before a small grin formed and she gave her a wink, causing her little sister to look a little embarrassed at getting caught.

As she stopped in front of her father and mother, she looked them over, before speaking.

“…You’ve gotten old” Cregan said bluntly, as her father stared at her, into her eyes, before he laughed, a loud laugh echoing from his throat as he surged forwards and hugged his daughter close, knowing the moment she spoke, upon hearing her husky powerful voice, that this was his daughter.

And knowing this, he yelled to the entire crowd “My firstborn, Cregan Stark lives! The Blessed Wolf has returned to the North!” His voice echoed, as cheers began to ripple through Winterfell.

Pulling away from the hug from her father, she looked at her mother.

“I…I’m sorry for worrying you for so ve-“ Before Cregan could finish, Lyarra surged forwards and hugged her eldest close.

“You damn girl! You’re lucky I’m so very happy that you’re alive, or I’d beat your arse” Lyarra said, as she held her daughter, tears leaking from her eyes as Cregan could only chuckle softly at her mothers words.

“Yeah, well I’m glad you won’t. It’d be embarrassing to get beaten up by an old hag like you” Cregan said with a shit eating grin.

“Damn brat” Lyarra grumbled, before pulling back as she wiped her tears.

“Are those wolves?” A voice echoed from the side, as Cregan turned, stopping on her younger brother Eddard Stark. She was surprised he was still in the North, as he was supposed to be fostered in the Eyrie by now, but she found out that that had been pushed back by a year, and he’d be fostered within a couple of months.

“Hmm, you can say that. But they’re more than just wolves, pup. They’re Direwolves, the same as the sigil that our family has taken as its own. The big one is Odin, his mate Frigga is the slightly smaller one, and the smallest is their child Thor” Cregan informed, as they all looked at the Direwolves in awe, including her parents.

“Are they your pets? That’s so cool!” Lyanna said with excitement.

“Not pets, they’re my friends. Now, how about we get inside? All these stares are making me really bloody uncomfortable” Cregan said, not lying as her father and mother both nodded and led them inside, but not before Rickard told everyone to leave them be for a while.

Walking inside the great hall, Cregan plopped down onto a chair, as her family soon moved to sit across from her.

“Where have you been, Cregan” Rickard started with a serious look on his face.

“Beyond the Wall” Cregan responded simply, as Thor, who had been carrying the majority of her supplies, trotted over as she reached down and took the chest off of him with ease, lifting it with a single hand as she placed it next to her.

“Beyond the wall? Isn’t that where the wildlings are?” Brandon asked, looking at his older sister with interest.

“Free Folk, little brother. That is what they are called beyond the wall. Call them a Wildling and they’d try to gut you” Cregan said, as she sipped on the wine that one of the servants had brought them.

”Hmm, been a while since I’ve had this, not strong enough for my taste” Cregan hummed, sipping on the wine as her mother was the one who asked the next question, but only after she recovered from the fact that her daughter was indeed beyond the wall.

“Why-why did it take you so long to come back to us?” Lyarra asked seriously.

“Because I had things to do beyond the wall” Cregan responded simply, as she sipped on more of her wine.

“T-That’s it? That’s your explanation?” Lyarra responded, trying not to yell at her daughter as Cregan sighed.

“When I say I had things to do beyond the wall, I mean it. But the things that I did…well, It’s better that only you and father hear about them” Cregan explained, as Lyarra and Rickard glanced at one another.

“Was it cold beyond the wall?” Lyanna asked, cutting into the tense situation.

“For normal people it certainly is. So cold that you could grow icicles on your nose or freeze your hair if you’re not careful. But us Starks are made of stronger stuff, so it wasn’t much of a problem for me” Cregan responded to her little sister.

”Why are you not shocked that we exist?” Eddard asked, knowing that his sister couldn’t have known about them.

“I’ve always known about you lot. Like your names. Brandon, Eddard also called Ned, Lyanna, and Benjen” Cregan responded.

“How? Are you like a witch or something!?” Lyanna asked, her eyes sparkling at the thought of seeing magic in person.

“Or something. And thanks to that “something” I know that you are quite the wild little thing, aren’t you? Or are you more of a proper maiden?” Cregan asked with a teasing smirk, as Lyanna scowled.

“I’m a wild wolf! Not some sniveling maiden!” Lyanna responded angrily, as her family all sighed at her response, even Benjen.

Cregan laughed on the other hand, and reached into her chest, pulling out a small dagger, as well as an intricate looking bow made of Weirwood.

“Well then, I think these would be perfect for you, won’t they, little wolf?” Cregan said, as she placed the two gifts in front of her sister, who gasped as she looked at them.

“Be careful with the dagger, its quite sharp” Cregan warned, as Lyanna pulled it from it’s sheathe, revealing a very very special dagger, one that got Rickard to go wide eyed.

“That gleam, thats-“ “The same metal that forged Dawn of the Dayne’s? Aye, it is” Cregan said with a smile, as she reached into her chest and grabbed out the rest of the gifts.

For Benjen she had given him an expertly crafted direwolf toy, as well as a small dagger of his own.

Ned had also gotten a dagger, as well as a wooden training sword made of Weirwood.

Brandon had been given a dagger, and a spear made of Weirwood.

For his mother she had given her a large beautiful cloak, as well as a necklace made of gems she had found beyond the wall.

While her father had gotten a cloak of his own similar to her own cloak, as well as a book.

“Ha! Father got a book!” Lyanna laughed, as Rickard read through the details of the book, only for his eyes to widen as he read through it.

“It’s not just a book, Lyanna. It’s information on a new farming method that I had developed beyond the wall, one that I do believe could be a huge boon to our people” Cregan said, as Rickard looked it over, reading the details and explanations for everything, finding that it was…genius.

“This…you have no idea how incredible this could be, daughter. This could single handedly boost our crop gains by at least double!” Rickard said, as he found his gift to be far and away the best of the bunch, as it would not only aid their house, but the entire North.

“Well that’s not all the gifts I’m giving you. Once the rest of the pack arrives, you’ll each get your own pup to raise and take care of” Cregan informed, as Lyanna gasped.

“You mean I get a direwolf!?”

”Mmhmm, each of you will. It’s only right that we get our own Direwolves, with our very sigil being a direwolf” Cregan responded with a smile, finding her sister to be quite amusing, and very similar to her in her earlier years.

“Pack? How big is your pack?” Lyarra asked.

“Hmm, the pack that accompanied me beyond the wall is around 50 strong. The entire direwolf pack beyond the wall is maybe…400 strong? Perhaps 500? It’s made up of every Direwolf beyond the wall, so I’m not entirely sure” Cregan responded after a few moments of thought, as she wasn’t really certain on the total amount.

Lyarra just looked at her in awe, while Brandon asked the next question.

“What are those swords? Can we see them?” Brandon asked, excited to see if his sister had any other cool weapons to show them.

“Hmm…I don’t see why not. But I do hope you all can keep these a secret, as they are quite the rarity, and should another family want them…well, they’d likely become a big annoyance” Cregan said, as she reached to her waist and unsheathed her first blade, one that glimmered like the daggers.

[The gem is Dragonglass]

“That metal…you found enough for a sword?”

”Indeed. I managed to find the star that fell, another similar to that of the one that made Dawn, but is likely a bit bigger. Using that metal, I made this blade, which I have dubbed as “Dusk” the Sword of Winters. With the Dornish having their Sword of the Morning, why not give us Northerners their Sword of the Winters?” Cregan said, as Rickard looked at it in awe.

The metal in front of him was compared to Valyrian steel, and was far rarer, with this being the second proper sword made of the metal, in the entire world.

But it was the second blade that she unsheathed that really got a reaction out of him. For the blade that she held in her hand, it was made of Valyrian steel.

“What…where did you find Valyrian steel beyond the wall!?” Rickard said in shock, as Cregan chuckled.

“I had a mentor that has held onto it for quite some time, and he gifted it to me after he passed. It’s quite the blade isn’t it? As far as I know, it’s one of the oldest blades in Westeros, at least according to my mentor. He never did tell me it’s name though” Cregan said, lying through her teeth as she knew exactly what longsword she held in her hand.

The same sword that marked a Targaryen as a King. The same sword that had been used by Aegon the Conqueror. The most legendary and well known Valyrian steel weapon in the entire world. The blade known as…Blackfyre.

[This but the blade itself is darker as it should be with it being a Valyrian steel sword]

The blade was almost exactly the same as it used to be, but instead of dragons on the cross guard were changed to wolves, and the red gem had been swapped out for a winter blue one, akin to ice.

Turns out that Bloodraven had obtained the blade after the Blackfyre rebellion, stealing it and taking it beyond the wall with him. While the other blade of the Targaryens, Dark Sister, was currently being held by Maester Aemon for a future Targaryen to claim.

The two blades were pretty much perfect for her large form, and she had trained in using both at the same time, dual wielding them if need be. But she never really needed to.

As they all gazed at the Valyrian steel blade in her hands, the entire Stark family besides Cregan had only one thought on their minds.

‘…Incredible’

____________________________________________________________________

That’s the end of the chapter!

The blades were easy picks, and Blackfyre is badass. She won’t be using it forever, as Ice will eventually be hers. But the blade will be given to someone worthy, who? You’ll just have to wait and see!

This’ll probably be the last vault chapter of the night.

Anyways, have a good day!
