Standing in front of the vet, Kali held the injured pup in her arms, soaked with rain. The weather was awful as rain poured down, but thankfully she had an umbrella that she had given Allison, so there’d be none of that cloth changing bullshit that happened in canon, as only she would see her beautiful mates figure in that way.

Knocking on the door loudly, Allison waited in worry, hoping that someone would be there in order to help out the dog. And soon, her prayer was answered as Scott opened the door, wide eyed to find Allison and Kali standing there, the latter having a dog in her arms.

“The pup needs help, I think its leg might be broken” Kali explained, holding the dog in her arms as it nuzzled into her warmth. She had no idea why the dog liked her so much, but she imagined it was just its natural instincts.

“Alright, c’mon. I should be able to help it out if that’s all it is” Scott said with a nod, not daring to look at Allison as Kali gave the teen a small glare the second he tried. His natural instincts flaring every time he tried. He was standing before what was basically the apex predator so it was best that he didn’t do something stupid.

Standing in one of the rooms in the Vet, Scott was looking over the dog silently, examining her wounds before nodding.

“Yeah you were right, her leg is definitely broken. But thankfully I’ve seen the doctor do plenty of splints, so I can do it myself and then give her a painkiller for now. At least until he gets here tomorrow” Scott explained, as Allison let out a sigh of relief that it wasn’t anything worse than that.

She didn’t want the death of a dog on her consciousness afterall.

“Thank you for this, Scott. Um…do you need anything else, or can we go?” Allison asked, as Scott looked a little disappointed with the question, wanting to speak with Allison more.

“Uh no, you can go. I’ll take care of her and when the doc gets back we can figure out who her owner is” Scott said, as she smiled.

“Thanks again Scott” Allison said as she walked out of the room, with Kali just giving the teen a nod before following after Allison.

Walking outside, Allison held the umbrella and stood still with a sigh.

“I feel really stupid” Allison said, as Kali looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

“Why is that?” Kali asked.

“Because I freaked out like a total girl. Sobbing and crying, calling you to help me when you were probably busy. When it was just a minor injury that didn’t need you to waste your time” Allison answered, as Kali looked at her before snorting.

“You are a girl, Allison. And you didn’t waste my time. Unlike what you might think, I don’t have much to do in terms of fun, and I don’t have any friends. So, you didn’t cause any problems for me Allison. Plus, we’re best friends, right? And as best friends, it is only right I help you in your time of need” Kali responded, waving off her worries.

“How did you even get to me so fast? You took like a minute”

”I was in the area and sprinted through the rain. Didn’t want you waiting too long” Kali responded with a shrug.

“You sprinted through the rain for…me? Why?” Allison asked, looking at Kali intently as the teen smiled softly in response.

“Because I care about you, Allison. And I don’t mind dropping everything if it’s to help you” Kali replied with a warm smile, as the girl looked at her with wide eyes. Her heart began to beat faster at the smile that Kali had given her.

The words made her cheeks flush brightly, pink dusting them as Allison looked down slightly. Kali inwardly cooed at her adorable mate, finding her reaction to be positively cute.

“Hey um…would you like to go to that party with me on Friday?” Allison asked as she looked up into Kali’s eyes, her cheeks still red as Kali smirked at her.

“Are you asking me out on a date, Allison?” Kali questioned as Allison's eyes widened before she bit her lip.

“…And what if I am?” Allison asked, as Kali smirked and leaned down, her lips drawing close to Allison’s ear as she huskily responded.

“Then I’d say yes~” Kali purred, as Allison shivered, her cheeks flushing brighter than before, as her stomach fluttered and another part of her reacted as well.

“W-Well that’s great then! U-Um…do you need a drive home?” Allison asked, trying to shake off the blush and to ignore the reaction her body had to Kali.

“If you’re willing then I won’t deny it” Kali responded, smirking as she caught the scent of Allison's arousal which made her instincts go wild in excitement.

“A-Alright then, get in” Allison sputtered out, still stuttering as she tried to get over the way her heart was pounding.

‘God this is fun~’ Kali purred inwardly as she climbed into the passenger seat, ready to get home.

The drive back home had been pretty interesting for Kali, as she was forced to inhale the scent of her mates arousal for almost the entire ride, her own body reacting in return. She also got to hear her mates singing for the first time, which yet again, she found to be adorable.

They had talked a good bit about random things while Allison drove, learning more about one another as they grew closer to one another. With Kali intently listening to everything Allison said, wishing to soak on all the information she could learn about her.

By the time they had gotten to Kali’s apartment complex, around 25 minutes had passed, and Allison had gotten control over her own reactions. While Kali had learned more about her mate.

“Thanks for the ride, Allison” Kali said with a thankful smile on her face.

“I should be the one thanking you, Kali. For…everything you just did for me, it means…a lot” Allison said softly in response, as Kali just chuckled.

“Like I said, call upon me if you ever need help, and I’ll be there” Kali responded, and this was the truth. She’d drop everything for her mate, and she wanted Allison to know that.

Hearing her response, Allison could only stare at her for a few moments before deciding to give her another “Gift” which was the form of a soft kiss against her cheek, but this time, it was VERY close to her lips. If she had moved only slightly to the left, she would have locked lips with Kali.

And Kali had a feeling that was on purpose, as Allison blushed.

“Ju-Just as a thank you. And u-um…you might get more of that during our date” Allison said, as Kali’s eyes lit up at the idea, and she smirked.

“Well I’ll be excitedly waiting for our date~” Kali said, as she pressed her own kiss against Allison's cheek, before climbing out of the car, leaving a blushing teen in her wake, as she made sure to sway her hips more as she walked into the building, grinning as she felt Allison's gaze on her bubbly behind.

Kali had only one thought on her mind as she returned back to her apartment, and that was…

’…I can’t wait for that date~’

That’s the end of the chapter!

It was a short one, but it was just them talking more and more teasing going on. They’ll get together pretty quick, like Scott and Allison did in canon, even faster in this one thanks to Kali being very very good at making Allison blush.
