Chapter 234 [Vault]

[1st POV]

I remembered dying. I remembered the sensation of bleeding out, a bullet in my stomach, after a firefight happening outside of my apartment. An apartment that was in a less than safe area in LA.

Just my luck to die on my 21st birthday. I was a poor woman, with two jobs in order to get by. I worked my ass off to live, and I barely got by. The only thing I had in life to pass the time and for my own enjoyment, was fictional works, comics, manga, fanfic, anything I could get my hands on.

Sure, I read and watched it all through pirate sites, but…I didn’t have the money for it otherwise.

Amongst those things, I found myself in love with DC and Marvel more than anything. I loved the works even when they were convoluted and made no sense half the time, I loved reading about the villains more than anything. I found their pasts and histories to be so interesting, like Doctor Doom, Magneto, Emma Frost, and Batman’s various villains.

And now I am dead, lying (sitting?) in some sort of infinite void, darkness surrounding me on all sides. A situation that sounded right out of a damn fan fiction or something. And if the words in front of me are any indicator, it would seem I am in a fan fiction situation.

[You have died. Thankfully, you are in luck! You have been chosen to reincarnate into the DC universe, a combination of various DC media, including Young Justice, Comics, Games, and more. You will be given one “Template” a fictional character that you will inherit the powers, memories, species, etc of. Please spin the wheel, and after we can get to the next part]

Reading these words, I could only blankly stare as a large golden wheel formed in front of me. I don’t have much of an option, so I gripped the wheel and spent it hard.

And my eyes widened in shock at the character template I had gotten. A character that was both sexy, and powerful. One of my favorite female characters in all of fiction, the character known as…

Yeah…that’s definitely a good start. Sure, it wasn’t even remotely enough for DC, but it was a better start than I was expecting.

[Now that you have gotten your template, you can now take your boons and curses. In return for a boon, which can range from various powers, items, species, etc, you obtain a curse. Curses range from a missing limb, to a muted emotion. Certain curses have been eliminated for the user's own sake. You may also make a curse yourself in return for an even greater boon]

“Hey, what would I get if I was to make a curse like “Is restricted to Gotham until the entire underworld of Gotham is conquered”?” I asked, as this…this could be good. Gotham was a shit hole, worse than any city in my past life. And if I was right, the boon could be great.

[A great boon]

“Alright, let me make my curses then” I said, as what was basically a keyboard appeared in front of me, allowing me to begin to type out my curses.

[Gothambound]

[You are bound to Gotham. You cannot leave until you conquer the underworld of Gotham, which includes taking over every gang, mafia, and the major crime families (Does not include the Court of Owls)]

[Homeless]

[You are a homeless woman in Gotham. You have no wealth, and no power. You must build yourself up from the ground up. You do have an ID however]

[Danger]

[You first appear in the territory of a local gang. And as a beautiful woman in gang territory, you can only assume what they will attempt to do to you once they see you]

[Lust Filled]

[You have a lot of lust. Because of this, you’ll find the need to “Release” yourself at least once a day. Best to get a nice and big harem to help take care of this]

[Debt]

[Your parents owed a huge debt to THE Black Mask, and thanks to this, the man is now looking for you. He will hunt you down the second he finds you, and will make sure you pay him back for your parents debts towards him, whatever that might mean]

[Magicless]

[You cannot use magic until you conquer the underworld of Gotham. But at the same time, magic cannot affect you until this happens. Making you a sort of neutralizer to magic]

[Malnourished]

[You start out malnourished and weak, lacking muscle and health. It’s up to you to fix yourself up and return to a healthy form]

[Comics]

[This is well and truly the comics, at least, in terms of power. All characters are now their comic counterparts in terms of power, skill, and intelligence]

[Blood Ties]

[You are blood related to not just one, but two villains. Thanks to this, should your connection to them ever be found, you will be hunted down by every hero on the planet. For they are some of the most dangerous villains in the world]

[Tasteless]

[You cannot taste food, only drinks. This can only be fixed through magic, so…better conquer the underworld of Gotham!]

The curses I gave myself were…a lot, but they were not too much for me to handle. With my memories and powers from Emma, from me becoming Emma, I should be able to handle them all.

Now lets see what boons I’m getting.

[All For One]

[Gives the user the Quirk known as “All For One” but can now be utilized on more than just quirks, including metahuman abilities and beyond. Cannot be taken away, blocked, stolen, etc. And is no longer tied to the users blood or anything like that]

[Six Eyes and Limitless]

[Grants the user the ability known as “Six Eyes” as well as “Limitless”. The two traits of Gojo. Naturally this means the user also has Cursed Energy, but it is up to the user to learn how to utilize it. These abilities may be able to do more with magic existing]

[Unparalleled Martial Genius]

[You are unparalleled in the art of martial arts. You grow and learn the art like breathing. Mastering a single martial art in a single day is not hard for you, and learning an art just from watching someone else do it is easy as pie. You can also learn other areas related with ease, such as assassination techniques and such]

[Infinite]

[You have infinite potential and endless limits for growth. You cannot and will not ever stop growing, as long as you train and take advantage of the various possibilities, you will always grow in power]

[DNA Lock]

[Your DNA cannot be stolen or used against your will under any circumstances, not even by the likes of Lucifer Morningstar or the Endless]

[Adaptibility + Zenkai Boost]

[Your body adapts and grows with stress like a Viltrumite. But you also have another power in one. As after every stressful/damaging fight, you will receive a meaningful boost in power, the closer to death you are, the more power you obtain. Just like a damn Saiyan. Your body can also handle things that normally wouldn’t be possible, like serums that would counter one another]

[Endless]

[Any serum you take that might normally have been a momentary boon, is now always active. As long as it boosts the user's power, it will always be there, like a super soldier serum of sorts. This means something like Venom would be a permanent boon to you]

[NZT-48]

[You know the creation method of NZT-48…that’s all]

[Hidden]

[You are hidden from the eyes of cosmic entities for 2 years after you appear in DC. After that, it’s up to you to prepare for them, should they come to meet you]

[Charming as Hell]

[You are IMMENSELY attractive, even more so than before. Not only that, but you are charming to an almost divine level. Your words have more appeal and meaning than others, and people are much more likely to follow you, listen to you, and fall for you]

“That…that is a lot better than I was expecting” I muttered, the boons were…simply incredible. Each and every one of them were useful to me, with only the NZT one being a momentary boon, as once I make it once, it’ll be useless thanks to the Adaptability + Endless boons.

Having cursed energy plus limitless and six eyes will also be great. And All for One might be very very powerful should I take the right metahuman powers. I already have a few ideas in mind, including Cisco, as if they’re comic level powers, then that’d be a huge boost to me.

And being a martial arts genius will be great too. Combine that with NZT, and I will be able to become a martial artist even better than the likes of Lady Shiva, Batman, and the like. And that’ll be necessary, as physically I’m going to be quite weak without using my diamond form.

The charming as hell boon is…a bit of a questionable one, as while it will be nice for picking up the…ones I am interested in, it’ll also mean I catch a lot more attention from others.

Either way I am pleased, as this will allow for me to rise from the bottom far faster. And taking over the Gotham underworld won’t take as long as I thought. Hell, I’ll even be able to create the company I wanted as well, as with Emma Frost's knowledge, I’ll be able to run one without too much difficulty.

“Thank you!” Was the last thing I could utter, as everything began to go dark, and I disappeared from the infinite void.

[3rd POV]

Within Gotham, in a dark alleyway that had nothing but trash and a cardboard box, a woman lay inside of it. A beautiful woman, but a woman in dirty clothing and a malnourished appearance.

This woman was Emma Frost. With her vibrant blue eyes thanks to Six Eyes, and standing at around 5’10, with very very impressive assets, even with her malnourished state. Once all healed up, it’s clear she will be a drop dead gorgeous woman, sexy even.

Slowly, Emma’s eyes began to creep open, a grunt escaping her lips as she began to glance around.

“…I knew this was where I’d appear, but I wish it wasn’t so…dreary” Emma muttered to herself, as she felt her eyes begin to burn slightly. They hurt, but thanks to her the memories of her other life, as…other Emma? She adapted well enough.

But she’d still need to find a way to get around that as it would get annoying soon enough. It was like sensory overload, so until she got something like NZT made and finished, it would likely be a problem.

That or she adapted fully to it, either of them would work.

Slowly she began to rise to her feet, frowning at the sensation of weakness that traveled through her. Rubbing off her dirty clothes, Emma began to walk from the alleyway, one thought on her mind.

‘…Let’s get out of here’

Emma will have quite a large harem. Harley, Ivy, and Catwoman are guaranteed. But she also is going to be a villain, so pretty much her entire harem is going to be villains.
