What happened?

Hello to everyone who is still here and thank you guys for still being with me! I'm really sorry that I haven't posted updates for a whole month and made you wait so long, there were reasons for that. I really appreciate the support of each of you and will try not to allow this from my side anymore.

Below I would like to tell you what happened.

TW: mention of the disease.

This month turned out to be very difficult for me because of health problems, perhaps I have never felt so bad that I thought my life was over. I didn't want to touch the tablet, I didn't want to talk to anyone, I didn't want to get out of bed and wake up at all. Every day was like torture, it took all my strength not to fall asleep immediately after waking up or in the middle of the day. I couldn't take full care of myself and my husband had to take over the housework for this period.

Most of all, I was afraid that it was depression and I was afraid of myself in this state. Because of depression, my friend passed away seven months ago and I was afraid that at some point it would become so hard for me that I would stop controlling myself and decide to do the same. In addition, there are no psychiatrists or psychotherapists in my village, they are all in the city 70 km away from me, so I just didn't have the money to go there every time.

A week ago, I decided to gather the remnants of my will into a fist and at least take tests for thyroid hormones. The only endocrinologist in the area saw patients once a week, the queue for him was packed for several weeks ahead, so we had to wait. In general, my diagnosis is hypothyroidism, and my apathy is just one of many symptoms that have been manifested for a very long time. It's just that all the other symptoms, such as brittle hair and nails, dry skin, drowsiness and other things can easily be mistaken for a lack of some vitamins, given that I have a rather closed lifestyle, so I didn't even think that all these could be symptoms. Until apathy bordering on depression manifested itself.

I was prescribed hormones, and after a week my condition improved dozens of times, I became much more active, more cheerful and the desire to work appeared again, and I am insanely happy about it, although it's a little frustrating that hormones need to be taken all my life, but it's better than going back to that depressing state again.

Never neglect your health, guys, if you are worried about some conditionally "ordinary" things, it's worth visiting a doctor just in case. My hormone tests didn't differ much from the norm at all, but here's how it affected the general condition. The human body is so fragile and so unpredictable.

Thanks! It's pretty stupid that I forgot to suspend payments for this month, I just still hoped to come back every time, until eventually it dragged on for a whole month х(
