Agree with all your frustrations Steven, i just think all these spinoffs are running out of steam fast, same with Daryl's show, like just end this Universe already theres not much story left to tell at this point clearly. Rick coming home should have been the end of it tbh, Daryl's entire purpose for leaving and getting his own show was looking for Rick, well he's back and dude is just wondering around another country unaware doing side quests so he can't be told he's back cause they want to keep the Universe alive because they just can't let it go. Now Dead City is dragging their feet, boring characters, filler episodes, Negan sitting around looking sad, Lucile was brought back but is never used, and was turned into a cattle prod for some reason, even though swinging a bat covered in barbwire at someone's head would be much more effective than giving you a shock. Now Hershel after a few days with an old woman he's never met before completely brainwashed him by showing him a few things in a building and being nice, now he's against his mother, theres just not enough there to justify that imo.
