2024-02-18 01:50:57 +0000 UTCI feel like the first scene in season 2 with the bombs in the babyβs prams is some type of symbolism for the death of the 2 sons that the peaky blinders are responsible for in these episodes. Almost like a foreshadow having 2 posing mothers wearing black to start the season. That was just my take

He could have easily sent someone else. It was nice to see Grace again. Arthur is out of control. He seems to be the one thing/person that Tommy can't get a handle on. I can't believe how fast these seasons go.

2024-02-14 13:16:08 +0000 UTCA few contrasts not to forget, Michael want the criminal life, Tommy want the posh life, Arthur wants respect from his family, Ada wants a free life. Yet Michael is sent to the 'legal' job, Tommy has no legal way to a posh life, Arthur still has the Soldier vs Mayor relationship with Tommy and Ada is set up in a golden cage in London. Tommy loves his family, with Polly he can't pull this shit, but he is manipulating everyone into place where he sees them useful. Oh and just political catchup, was 'The Treaty' to end the anglo-irish civil war ever mentioned in SoA? You might want to look that up for context, the show does not stop to explain the sides.
