AUGUST POLL: Should I Continue Making CC?

I’m checking in with you guys because these last few months have been ROUGH! A few months ago- my passion for making CC began to dwindle As I noticed that I wasn’t really receiving support like I used to.
I have seriously been playing with the idea of quitting- not because I don’t love the sims (I’ve actually been playing since the very first Sims game) - but because of the lack of actual support. Although I have created upwards of 500+ CC items (most of which are free), the love and the feedback that I’ve been receiving isnt even enough to run/pay the website bill for you guys to search free content each month . 😢
Since you are all like family to me- I’m reaching out this month to ask a serious question...
Should I continue to make CC?
Please don’t take this question out of context- Keep in mind that actually began making CC because I wanted to add more culture, more fun and more realism in the game. I wanted to create a place for brown simmers to be able to relate to their game- just like everyone else. I spend hours creating fun, interesting content… but idk…
Lately, it’s been dry ya’ll… ? Like real dry. I need to know if you all think I should keep going?

just joined as, found you because i was looking for different default paintings. i usually use MTS DAISY TIGHTFIELD replacements as i think their cool, but i was looking for what else is out there even possibly add to what i already have instead. Your patreon page came up and i found that some of you stuff looks cool, so i joined. I agree with the others, I HATE pose packs etc, because the poses are not for game play but for pics only. there are thousands of stupid poses, but not enough maxis style CC, there are VERY few CC that are MAXIS style AND FUNCTIONAL. That is your thing! Functional Maxis style CC. Stick with that and you will get a ton of supporters. Your doing a good job. Just stay away from poses and get back to what you were doing before.

These things take tons of time and hearing where I can improve and how to do so helps me a lot. Thanks so much. I’m leaning more towards doing just what you said- updating the mods that are dearly loved in the community and creating more materials that you all fell in love with to begin. Thanks so much!

I stopped months ago because the mods you made that added function/game-play to the game, you stopped updating (specifically for me, I loved your alcohol bottles that gave custom buffs). Once you started focusing on poses, I respectfully stopped subbing on patreon. I don't use pose packs, as I'm more of a game-player. I immerse myself in the game vs run a Simstagram or play in Blender. I'd be happy to see more functional CC/mods, or even just updates to your old ones that made me sub in the first place.
