2017-10-13 05:14:30 +0000 UTCReally good episode. Honestly, I agree with you on most points, though I do think the movie was slightly more clever than you're giving it credit for. Basically, the characters are all representations of various action tropes that have reached old age, which I found kind of fascinating to watch. It was also nice to see older actors that would ordinarily just play the wise old mentor that simply died to motivate the protagonist or whatnot in these sorts of movies being given the limelight, plus you could tell they were all, especially Dame Helen Mirren, having an absolute blast doing it.

I think that was cause I was not expecting it.
