2017-09-30 09:37:04 +0000 UTCI don't remember perfectly, but as I recall it Tyrion's explanation of how the supposed betting of the knife went had more to do with him being so completely confident and trusting of Jaime, both as a brother and especially as a swordsman. Naturally, important for their relationship in the fututre books.

2017-09-30 08:15:32 +0000 UTCI actually think it's too much of a comparison to the show, too little of a book synopsis. There are several good book - show comparing videos. Hardly any that stick entirely to the books. I think that's a shame.

I'd also like to mention a good website Race For The Iron Throne, a chapter by chapter analyse of the books, which also has a book versus show comparison. It also has political analyse and historical comparison.
