(belated) June WIP: a homily for Steve Rogers
Added 2025-08-22 14:54:26 +0000 UTCy'all who've been here a while know this has been kicking around. there's maybe a third of a script for this ethical exploration of the MCU's depiction of Captain America, which may or may not be presented as a sermon (it is) and may or may not discuss how Steve Rogers would deal with The Trolley Problem (it does). this sample starts a few paragraphs into the draft that exists now.

I love the keen insight into character this is and how how it really gets to the heart of who he is and why the people who make "good soldiers" are rarely good people.
