DOUBLEWRONG is live!

after another delightful back-and-forth where I demonstrate that I am uniquely bad at doing sponsor reads, Doublewrong is finally public! this is the penultimate Alt-Right Playbook, probably the last one to feature 100+ illustrations with the little doops, and the only ARP that will ever be sponsored (Abi and I are splitting the revenue on this and I wanted to make sure it was a decent paycheck).

I'ma go take a nap or something.

I wish I could talk to a lefttuber like you one on one about things. Someone who could help me understand and put things into perspective regarding media, art, writing, critical thinking, and life.

Darn.

I mean precisely to distinguish between the products and the ethical concerns with selling them, that is exactly what's important. I'm not saying you don't have a sponsor on your YouTube video, I'm saying you don't have a "YouTube Sponsor". The vast majority of YouTube Sponsor business models are *not* to provide some product or service to customers, but instead to misrepresent the quality of a product (or usefulness of a service) in order to extract an order of magnitude (or two) more money out of customers then they spend on the product. RayCon isn't a headphones company, it's a sales company, where Nebula isn't a sales company, it's a video company.

I'm being paid to sell a product. it maybe be a product you and I both feel better about, but I am still being paid to sell a product.

When you said you were going to include a sponsor on the public version, the way you talked about it, made me raise an eyebrow. But it's just Nebula. I don't know how the money flows around in regards to Nebula and the creators that are part(?) of it, but I'm comfortable enough with it as a service that its one of the two subscriptions I have. (the other is Dropout) So from a Nebula subscriber and Patreon supporter, I just want you to know, that as far as I'm concerned, that's not a "YouTube Sponsor", even if you get paid for it, because you're not selling your viewers down the river for a cheap buck. BetterHelp, AirUp, Raid, RayCon, and all of the data broker crap, those are "YouTube Sponsors". There's a *difference*.
