Sorry, couldn't stop thinking about racism defintions used. Here is my list: Racism 1: The bad defintion. Saying something “Bad” about an race. - People against racism often think it is like this - Racist people often protect themselves by claiming: “Everything is racism nowadays” Racism 2: The real definition Ranking races - Used interchangeably with Ethnocentrism. - Wait, that makes us all an racist? - White Fanboy - Everything is about scoring points - Trash talk other races (for negative points) Racism 3: sideways definition Having the wrong Prejudice or using Prejudice wrong Yes, there is correct way to have prejudice. But you can do it wrong: - Lies and falsehoods - Making the majority out of the minority - Force people to act like the (perceived) majority Racism 4: It is an structural thing Structural racism - Jeah, I am not qualified to talk about that - I know it exist, but I do not know what that means for me as an white person.
