Exporting this was a farce. My laptop is apparently not up to the effort of compressing even fairly simple graphical effects, so this gave me tons of of crashes and freezes. I finally managed to export in a different, less compressed format and then convert it to something reasonable in Media Encoder. Not sure whether that'll be the workflow going forward if I keep using my laptop for editing.
But this is the final CO-VID! Sorry it's such a long wait for a comparatively insubstantial video. This was supposed to be quick and fun. But it feels good to finish!
Only thing missing in this cut is outro music. Not sure what to use yet.

2021-08-01 16:43:44 +0000 UTCMaybe it's my lack of imagination, but I like the absence of exit music. It lets "thank you for watching COVIDs. Let's get back to work," just hang there. For me, it gives a sense of closure for this series. Maybe that would also be true with the right music, but I like the feeling this left me with.

Getting back into what used to be routines taking MONTHS is totally normal for health issues, as I'm sure you know, but I thought I'd remind you. :) Out of curiosity, what was the "unreasonable" video size out of the editing program before you encoded it?
