Let me tell you, this game hits in some real interesting ways when you can imagine your mother as Anya. On the flip side though, there's an equally interesting feeling of validation in seeing the entire internet tell your dirtbag father to fuck off and die.

He wants to get along, go along- but the moment he is given a real problem, he has no clue what to do. He is the kind of person who would fundamentally be unable to see Jimmy, someone he sees as a friend, as a predator. Someone who would hurt his other friend, Anya. He can't square what he sees as a fundamental break in reality. Even at the last moment, when Jimmy goes to crash the ship, he looks like a helpless animal who doesn't understand the trap they've fallen into Doesn't excuse him, but man, some people just can't deal with conflict.
