Bodysuit 23 #869

And here it is. Chapter over. Snow arc over. Whew!

I think I'm gonna put up a poll for which route to take the between chapter break, i.e. $5 tier people submit ideas and everyone votes for em or everyone submits ideas and I just pick whichever ones I find fancy or some other option. To be transparent the first idea is hopefully a way to try and get people onto the patreon again as it's been declining for a while now, but I also understand that that could ultimately prove fruitless and just annoy y'all and wind up not bringing in new people to the patreon at all. Especially these days when shits on fire and people losing work and junk. I'd rather let y'all decide. I'll put it up tomorrow or Friday. In the mean time feel free to give feedback beforehand in the comments!

I thought of a scenario where Miranda has a cousin she knows super well that's getting married and asks her to be her maid of honor. However, Miranda has some super important meeting and a project she is working on, so she can't go, but doesn't want to disappoint her relative. So she sends Doris (Kevin) in as her to the wedding. Kevin having to pretend to be Miranda would be interesting.

Yeah, I understand the issue of the fact people came here originally for the bodysuit fetish aspect, which is what I originally created it for. I just wound up writing a trans comic instead and have been leaning it towards that direction for a while now. It's still years off but once Bodysuit 23 ends then I'd probably switch to short stories to explore more various suiting stories similar to the stuff you're suggesting.

Well, in my opinion people have been leaving because the story has stagnated, and the last arc has become a bit long-winded. (I really appreciate your attempt to give it a twist by changing the conflict from a preschool version of Lord of the Flies to a bizarre chase like in Mad Max.) Also many of us are here for the bodysuit fetish, you know. Living suits that alter the body, and sometimes the mind, of the wearer. The whole existential context of a man wearing a bodysuit of the opposite gender and being able to participate in the female world like any other girl. Although I am a sardine who pays a dollar, I will still make a couple of suggestions to try to renew the story: —Some drama. The story feels very calm and pleasant, like in Sakura Card Captor, and that is boring if there is no supernatural element that breaks the normality. Let's say that Kevin inside Doris suffers from machismo and segregation for looking like a woman, Kevin to defend himself shouts that he is a man and tries to take off the mask to test it but it remains sealed to the bodysuit. Also with Kevin considering if he wants to stay as Doris forever but he considers what he would leave behind as a man, especially his childhood friend. —More bodysuits, more. Miranda is a genius and obviously will never stop working and innovating, that I developed a new model of Bodysuit and that some new guinea pig uses it, be it Owen or some new character that is the typical stereotype of a very rough and masculine man who is forced to put on the suit of a sexy girl, just for the comic gags and to put Doris in a responsible aspect as a mentor for the next test subject. Also something with a previous or dangerous prototype would not be bad. Let's say Miranda developed an experimental bodysuit using DNA from someone morally questionable, all as part of a project to emulate her physical capabilities, but the suit has a mind of its own and easily possesses weak-willed people and influences the toughest ones. This would give rise to a villain because a simpleton (like Kevin) finds this dangerous bodysuit, puts it on, and is possessed by this new villain. Let's say she's a rival of Dr. Miranda and she died developing her version of the bodysuit project, this prototype is put on by a poor sap and ends up being possessed by the brilliant and evil mind of the doctor. Now with this rival creating stronger, more aggressive, possessive, and dangerous bodysuits, she's endangering national security by selling them on the black market as military combat and infiltration technology. And it's up to Doris, Miranda, and the rest of the group to stop her. I'll put it this way: the story needs a villain. A challenge that the other characters can face and overcome.
