Road Dog Diaries: Oh, what a night!

I had to go back to Iowa again for the (hopefully) last bit of dental work. It also just happened to be my birthday while I was back in town. Celebrating my birthday has always been foreign to me because I never did growing up. I donโt plan things to celebrate myself on my birthday usually. This year though, especially after the last two years weโve all been through, I needed to see my people. And oh how I missed them! Jeremy was able to come with me this time and Iโm so fortunate to be able to spend this time together. We had an amazing dinner at Shawโs Crab House in Chicago. After dinner we went to a new bar in the old neighborhood called Central Park Bar. What a cute little spot! And I didnโt know, but one of Jeremyโs friends opened this place! The cocktails were great, the staff was so lovely, and overall just really cute. My niece surprised me with cupcakes from Dinkel's Bakery and little tiny pasties on top! I love a good burlesque-themed baked good. Iโm back home in Puerto Rico now with Memphis and couldnโt be happier to continue the celebrations with her. My cup runneth over. ๐๐๐
