February has been a slow month but progress on Cyberpunk has been moving along steadily. I'm enjoying it a lot and have been taking my time doing as much of the side content as I can which is exactly why it's taking me longer to put out parts. I record everything and essentially need to determine what is worth keeping. - I have a large backlog of games I still need to get to and if there are any recommendations I'm all ears. - Notably, content is now only available to paid members. I made this decision after a very negative experience with a modding community because I used mods I'd payed for in my videos and what incentives would that leave for someone to buy their mods instead of just watching my video playthrough? So in my opinion, I still think back to the days where people rioted at Bethesda for trying to sell mods. Mods should be free in my opinion. That's not to discredit talented people for making mods but at the same time they don't have the rights to use an intellectual property to make a profit. So it bugs me immensely when they complain that what I'm doing hurts their profit lines. And while I'm charging a buck for access, I need that to fund the increasing cost of server space to host all the videos that are well over 1TB already. And that cost is a symptom of every other random platform taking my videos down randomly or making it needlessly complicated. So the situation is what it is. I'll keep making videos and I'm happy everyone is enjoying the growing library of content.
