RE: final draft FINAL edit

Some of you saw my patreon post yesterday saying I was going to take over street fight that I then deleted. I hastily made that post without thinking it all the way through, which is pretty much textbook me.

So instead I am going to be shutting down street fight and leaving what is left of the archives available for $1. I know someone said some files and links were missing so I will try and replace those if I can. If you have files that are missing then message me. I’ll send an equal amount of money to Bryan like I always have. I am sorry for the calamity this has caused.

Bryan has already left street fight and moved to patreon.com/murderxybryan. He is going to take everything that he created over there and anything new from this day forward he is posting there. Whatever is left with both of us will be accessible here for $1

I came back from the hospital ready to do the best street fight show ever. I have a renewed faith in what I want to accomplish. Yesterday I hastily got the idea to pick up the show again after Bryan left. The show would just not be the same without both of us and now we both agree.

If you are sad about it ending and what we were accomplishing I am too and I would like to continue the project. I was very excited at the idea of expanding the community and getting more working folks on record and meeting together irl. I’m going to setup a call-in show for my Relatively Unknown Project and we’ve got a fun idea to make it something you don’t find elsewhere. Please consider supporting me at patreon.com/relativelyunknownco I’ve got a good slate of guests coming up soon.

TL:DR

Street Fight Archive, most items with Brett and Bryan will remain here patreon.com/streetfightradio for $1 or more. Whatever comes in will be split evenly.

Bryan has moved to patreon.com/murderxbryan and all of the audio series and things that he worked on his own will be there as well.

Brett has a show at patreon.com/relativelyunknownco and is now hoping it expand the podcast if people are interested in coming along for the ride.

I wish you both the best. Totally understand. Do you have the Undercover Boss and Shark Tank shows or will Bryan be uploading those? The links here are broken.

Greyson Peltier

Love to both of you. Look forward to street fight radio 2 in some years when y'all work stuff out. And I've always appreciated your openess about mental health struggles Brett, I'm sorry you've been having a hard time and I'm thinking of you.

h_dub

been listening for years, thanks for all the laughs hope you guys do well with whatever stuff you do next.

yusuf

SF was awesome, you guys improved my life and made me a more compassionate person. Thank you for all your hard work and sharing your talent.

Heath Hemmer

Echoing everyone else, mostly feeling really appreciative of the awesome thing that we all got to enjoy for so many years. I know it’s helped me think more positively about lots of different stuff in life. I also have a question about tiers and archives going forward. Will we be able to stay subscribed at a level to go back and watch all the video content like undercover boss and street-shark tank, if you still have a video file of those? I’be been a vid subscriber but the links to those were giving an error last I tried. Thank you for everything!

Derek Mesman

Hell of a ride. Got me through so many shitty shifts freezing at the airport. Good luck to both the SF boys and all the community

Jethro Mojave

Not right now. He said he wants to do a free feed, but it’s not set up yet.

Mike Schneider

The show had been a constant during my driving job over the years. All things must end I suppose but still much love to both of you and everyone who made this show.

Solidus Red

I haven’t found it yet.

auf die Welle

I hope you both do great and have nothing but the utmost for both of you. Things come to an end, it’s life

Jacob

I was delighted to come on the show to talk about Juggalos and I'm hopeful you both find some peace and creative juice that is fulfilling for you, not just for your fans ❤️

Kitty Stryker

Does Brian have a non-patreon feed?

William Myers

“I have a fucking union contract to negotiate. Ummm, yeah she goes to another school; you guys wouldn’t know her.”

SpiceBoy

don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out.

auf die Welle

You're so fucking cool bro, way better than the rest of us, ha ha cool

Tyler Pittman

Read between the lines. You have a union contract to negotiate? Wow you must have a big dick. SF is for people who got nothing else. You ever listened to the call-in show? Most of SF listeners don't sound like they negotiate anything other than their eviction. They depoliticized it in an effort to stay together. It didn't work. Their work relationship has probably been on the rocks longer than they'd admit. It is a bad break-up, basically we should just be supportive. Or shut up. If your life isn't in the state that podcasts are your only counseling, then you're probably a rich ahole

Daffy

It just seems like a classic case of burnout for both B&B and a lot of us. After Covid everyone wants a reset. Podcasts (good ones) are hard work. Showing up every week and posting or editing something almost everyday. The Zines, the emails, the writing. It became an online family and likewise a constant source of parasocial anxiety for all of us. I nearly forgot about the weekly panic attack conversations for both guys. After a short hiatus, it's clear to both founders their mental health is their only priority now and that means separate work environments, that means separate shows. Separate paths. Separate. I wish them both the best of luck and the best of families. However I do think it should be said that Bryan is kinda acting like an old guy who just wants to retire already. No smoke but it just seems like He could take 6 months off just like Brett did and get over all of this. But whatever. When you're done, you're done. Happy trails. One of my fave jokes recently was they were trying to figure out how many thousands of shows they have done. When did they stop numbering their shows?

Daffy

Why are you here?

auf die Welle

Hunter Wilson

I really hate to see you guys split like this, even though I'm sure you've both got your reasons.

Yairo Martis

“Oh noes this dude is mad their podcast based parasocial relationship broke up.” Let people say goodbye. Keep your stupid opinion to yourself.

auf die Welle

I made the documentary- I’m good. Peace out nerds. See you on the other side.

auf die Welle

sad to see SF end - much love to you both

Andrea

❤️ sad to say goodbye, but I look forward to both of yalls future endeavors. Good luck

rosa

Street Fight meant a lot to me and I think you guys helped me become a better person. I’m kind of heartbroken that it’s over (and it’s not even mine!), but I guess all things end. Maybe it’s good I didn’t get that “viva Lonnie” tattoo. Thank you so much for all the laughs and here’s to the future!

Nixper

Love you both, and only hope the best for you. Don't let any haters influence you. Shit happens and life isn't easy.

KY Hot Brown

Yeah I jumped the gun I wanted to get back in the drivers seat. I’m just gonna move it to my new thing.

Street Fight Radio

mania is when I feel the most joy I’ve felt in my life. This is the depression that you’re dismissing me for. I wanted to come back and Bryan happily left and is doing fantastic. None of this is easy to do and real life is messy it ain’t a wrestling match with a heel and face.

Street Fight Radio

I hope you’re both given a ton of grace through all of this because as tough as it’s been for us I can’t imagine what it’s been like for you two. Street Fight changed and greatly improved my life and I’m forever thankful for you both as well as the community.

dustin.d.struction

I'm just sad for you both. I went thru a breakup after 7 years last May, and a long time friend breakup couple months after. It's heartbreaking to experience and don't wish it on anyone. SF has provided me some comfort before during and after those experiences, sharing hurt vicariously, so I'm thankful for that. Change is always hard and I've got a lot more to go. Wish you both peace and clarity.

Shane

This all sounds like a great solution to me. To me as a fan, SF was always both Brett and Bryan, so either person continuing using the name without the other felt weird.

Doug L

What a clusterfuck. This has been a slow trainwreck and it's really sad to watch. Don't blame Bryan at all for moving on. IMO you should get your head on straight before you do anything because all of this seems very manic. I'm out.

Christopher B

This show means so much to me. I'm glad I can keep listening to the both of you.

Grimmu

Love you both. I'm sorry life can be so difficult sometimes, and I hope maybe someday we will see you two working together again, even for something small. Looking forward to RUP. I was always too anxious to call into SFR, but I'm going to try to get over that 😬

Much love to everyone ❤️
