Updates and Page 7 sketch ✍🏽

Hey everyone,

After a long journey hauling a 1950s trailer home across the U.S. on the back of my truck, I’ve finally returned—refreshed, recharged, and ready to draw in this new studio. You could say I'm committed to era authenticity.

This 1955 Spartan Mobile Home will hopefully be our future home and studio with a dedicated room for drawing comics. Which is one of the things that holds me up…Right now I just try to draw anywhere I can: lunch breaks, out in the field, in the car, garage, etc.. Now we should be cozy…

The next thing was to figure out was this censorship issue on our NSFW gallery! 😤

Thankfully, the issue wasn't as big of a deal as I feared.

It seems Viola’s voluptuous visage can be seen from a mile away, and someone reported that the banner image for NSFW gallery was topless. I wasn’t aware that violated the guidelines. I’m always pushing boundaries here (sorta), that’s part of what Hidden Curves is going to be about. 😅

I’ve since edited the banner and submitted an appeal to have the NSFW gallery viewable again. Hopefully Patreon will acquiesce, and we won’t have to worry about our spicier material getting hit with the banhammer in the future.

Truthfully, the whole ordeal left me frustrated—especially realizing how many subscribers I lost during the lull in content. But the folks who stuck around? Y'all rock, Thank you, sincerely, to every one of you who’s continued to be a member through this.

Initially, I was too discouraged to address the situation, so I just put my head down and got back to work on the pages for Hidden Curves.

Here’s a  sneak peek rough sketch on the most current page: Viola, appropriately, being squeezed and crowded out by outside forces. I’m planning to redo the cityscape to make it a bit more unique, but this rough helps me block out the spatial relationships between characters and buildings.
