Yeah, thats because Patreons community guidelines are a huge pain and they draw arbitrary lines for nsfw art. Most artists ignore them but I'm lawful good and have already been burned over this stuff before.
Cohost was made by people who are really mad at patreon, and one day soon they will be integrating patreon like features into an actual social media website i want to use.
They allow all legal nsfw content. they dont sell your data to 3rd parties, they dont have ads, theres no algorithm that will shadow ban me for saying daddy. I can format posts however I want with CSS script, no awkward crops, or limits to 4 pages a post. theres no visible follower or like counts, theres no social media rat race. Its owned by a co-op of queer furries and not a billionaire. and an age gate is built in to every page and every post so i dont need to see the opinions 14 year olds have about knots. again.
It's still in beta, but its still one of the best social media experiences I've had and its only gotten better the more users sign up. Please consider signing up for a 4th website.
