"The Crossroad of Ravens"
Added 2024-12-13 17:00:19 +0000 UTCI know there is a lot of hype around The Witcher 4 right now...
The trailer left mixed feelings and a bunch of questions that we're unlikely to hear answers to for years to come, so I don't see the point in even discussing it.
I just wanted to say that when I drew Ciri with a braid, I wanted Ciri to look different in the comics than in the game, so that it would be clear at first glance where the image came from, but now it will be harder to do. 😒 One thing is good - the game will not be released soon and I may have time to finish the project. If you remember Cyberpunk, then 8 years passed from the first trailer to the release of the game itself . lol
But I would like to ask my followers from Poland. Has anyone of you already bought or read the new book "The Crossroad of Ravens"? Did you like the book? I read only the first 4 pages and it was very intriguing.

I don't have time either, but I'm intrigued. I also heard rumors that Sapkowski announced that he will be writing a new book about Ciri. Do you know anything about it?

2024-12-16 12:26:37 +0000 UTCI'm upset too. This is not what I expected from a studio that has been pretty respectful of the Witcher lore up until this point. It reeks of derivativeness and an attempt to make Geralt, but with boobs. A lazy attempt to cash in on a famous franchise without making any effort to make the main character interesting.

2024-12-16 12:24:39 +0000 UTCI watched the Witcher 4 interviews that came out now and they practically confirmed that Ciri is a mutated Witcher so she went through the trial of grasses it seems. If so the elves would be more than upset. Avallach would never let this happen, because that would make her a barren woman. Crazy how they simply did discard the book lore und also Celtic mythology which explains why the elves act like this, but humans have forgotten everything and CD Project Red as well. I am actually upset as well.

2024-12-16 12:17:22 +0000 UTCI haven't read it because I don't have time and I'm waiting for the holidays. My friend said it was well written, a return to Sapkowski form, but not much of a plot. He compared it to picking up question marks on Skellige 🤷😂
