essentially just an excuse to make art of these two as blushy babies who have big fat crushes on each other. it makes my heart hurt a little to think about simon as a kid, when he maybe wasn't the terminally cynical ass we know and love today. i imagine him as still a bit of a brute, capable of throwing his weight around and good at it, but largely kind of quiet and still pretty self-conscious.
