Added 2024-10-28 15:48:11 +0000 UTCAs you can see, this is a very different art compared to others! I had the idea while drawing to try and mimic the Ken Sugimori watercolor style for this piece, because out of all of the art styles for Pokemon, that one always seemed really nice in my eyes.
The colors only received one layer of shading, while the lighting was done all on top of the art (and one extra shading layer to make it darker in a few spots). The Octillery is there for an obvious connection to the leaks, with the background being a reference to one of the Pokemon Cards with Lapras.
