November Updates

Hi All,

Hope you are well. I've been more than a little bit busy (what is it about this time of year?! also... family... is the best and the worst...) Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate.

I've got some updated mods and some reminders because I've seen a bunch of people missing it despite information all over the place including on the patreon page where you download the mods.

Troubleshooting and Installation

Ok, peeps. We have to talk. Again.

Please please PLEASE (cue Jack Antonoff production) do not use my mods or reinstall them without going back and checking the installation instructions, conflicts, and additional requirements.

If you have any issue with the mods that should be your absolute first instinct is to go to the mod's page and check those things. The second is to check the troubleshooting steps. Too many of you are incorrectly installing the mods and then saying they don't work (which no mod does installed incorrectly) like there's nothing else you can do when you have clearly not done any of those things.

If you had done them, you'd know why you are unable to do things like click on your sims or why your moods are blue or why your sims aren't dying when they should or why BE is giving you an LE because it can't find the requirement that isn't in your game and see the solutions to your errors in installation that would fix these things before coming to me or support staff or commenting. There no special secret reason that the mods work for the majority of people but not you; they've simply taken the time and effort to do these things. Please make an effort to do so before messaging me or hopping on either my or a support server's discord.

Installation instructions are readily and redundantly available to you on a on each and every mod's webpage and on every download section for each mod on patreon. Please utilize the information and resources available to you.

Monthly Posts

Know that you will always hear from me at least once a month so relax if you don't hear from me when you want to, I will post before or at least by the end of the month as I have done every month for the last four, coming up in January on five, years. I can barely keep my head above water these days and I just don't have time to check in or update anyone every week on what I'm doing or my plans or statuses for the pixels but I will post once a month so just wait for that, it will come! I love the mechanics of modding but the social expectations are a whole nother struggle that as an severely anxious, introverted preschooler parent I don't have enough in my cup for most days so bear with me. I'm doing the best I can right now.

Mod Updates

Now to the good stuff.

First, a bunch of mods got updated this month due to the expansion, patch, etc.

Second, I also moved all of my mods that used my Shared Library over to Lot51's Core Library. You should delete the Shared Library from your mod folders and go and get the core library, if you don't already have it.

Third, I have updated the General Pie Menus and the Shared Tuning. If you don't have the most recent version installed and use a mod that needs these files, you need to update them.

The Mood Pack was updated this month. Redownload it even if you think you already have the most recent version. I added back the notification to install the mood pack if it is missing. Thought I didn't need to include it in my mods anymore but I've been proved wrong.

**** PLEASE clear your cache and delete all old versions of the mods. Don't just replace. MAKE SURE you have the Core Library, Shared Tuning, General Pie Menus, or Mood Pack, if required.***
