Thanks so much for bearing with me as I took care of some family things. That's now resolved and I'm back in full swing (as evidenced by this giant post). Sorry in advance for all the messages; I had a lot of updates and new pages to make.
**Please remember that if you have ANY of my mods installed you must have the General Pie Menus package installed as well***
Only two mods (Custom Nuptials and Dynamic Teen Life: Romantic Life module) needed updates for the patch, the others are bugfixes and feature additions and updates. All other mods are compatible with the patch.
Public Mod/Patch Updates
Custom Nuptials - Updated with compatibility for the patch and loyal trait
Dental Care - Tweaked how toddler teething is recognized. Sims can now choose someone to accompany them to their appointments.
Dynamic Teen Life - Tweaked the popularity system to make popularity rate of change more organic/less easy. Updated Romantic Life module for the patch.
Entertainer Career Overhaul - Minor bugfixes and updated strings
Family Therapy - Bug fixes and minor changes
SimNation Travel- Fixed an issue with Travel Critic Career not giving appropriate simoleons during daily assignments. Fixed a bug that resetting the mod didn't reset travel reservations. Only humans will now be included in reservations.
Writing and Writer Career Overhaul - Fixed some bugs. Added new cheats and menu. Important Note: If your sim is in the Freelance Writer career and you are in the middle of a book that is not for a gig, you must finish that book before trying to start the book for the career/getting a new book gig. If you are in the middle of a book writing gig, you must finish the book for the gig before you can write a personal book. You cannot have two unfinished books at the same time. Complete the gig book first and then finish your personal book if you have two at the same time.
Venue Fees and Memberships - Moved Lot Traits to Lot Challenges. Updated description to note it requires the General Pie Menus package.
Patron Major Mod Updates
I have some major mod updates for a few of my mods in beta early access available for my patrons. You can find those below. You can still use the current full versions if you don't want to use the updated beta versions. When these updates are fully tested and I've received feedback from my patrons, they will be released to the public on 11/04/22.
Custom Schools Shared Tuning - Prevents conflicts with School based mods (my own and others). All of these files are needed for all of my mods which add custom schools and will be shared across them. These mods include: Education Overhaul, Summer Camps, the Preteen Mod, and the Private School Mod. Since this impacts so many of my most involved mods I wanted to test it out with my patrons first and so therefore this update is for Patrons only for a bit.
Education Overhaul - Reworked, replaced, added, and in some cases removed or moved tuning in modules for school assignments, with honor society, assessments, and in the core to prevent less conflicts across my and other school mods. This will also now need the Custom School Shared Tuning to work. You must delete all previous versions and modules and download fresh; do not replace. PLEASE do not install modules for which you don't have packs.
Healthcare Redux - Fixed a few bugs, made some changes to how immunity is randomly rolled upon aging, reintroduced well visits as requested though they will only be needed every 21 days and if your sim has an undiagnosed illness/condition/complication/injury/etc it will not be available until the initial diagnosis for your other issue has been taken care of. As requested I also have allowed for your sims to choose someone to accompany them to their appointments.
Private School Mod - Finally making a page for this. It has been updated to incorporate aspects needed to work with the custom schools shared tuning. It now requires this. I also changed it to have its own script. It no longer requires the XML injector nor Triplis' Quit/Rejoin school mod.
Preteen Mod - While making changes to the Custom Schools Shared tuning, I realized I needed to make some changes to how the Preteen mod works. Some options were preventing things in the game from working because my mods needed to share tuning as not conflict with each other or the game so Preteen will now need the custom tuning to work as intended. Because this rework resulted in significant tuning change, I want to get some feedback on how it's working with these changes.
Summer Camp - Updated to reduce conflicts with my other mods (needs the shared tuning update)
University Application Overhaul - This mod received major changes. I have made it so that my mod adds two additional requirements to apply for university. Now Sims will either need to be enrolled in HS, have a HS Diploma or the GED course from HSY or a new GED type course from this mod.
Sims will also need to pass an entrance exam: an SAT/A levels type test from this mod, or the Academic Aptitude Test from Education Overhaul.
I know other mods have rejection letters possible but they don't incorporate some things I wanted like graduation level from HSY (valedictorian, honors, etc.), honor society from EO, the entrance exam passing levels, the type of school (custom private schools vs. EA public school) attended, etc. so I added my own rejection. This will not conflict with other mod's rejections, but if any other rejection mods are installed they will be ignored/bypassed by this mod now and its rejection systems will be superceded.
Patron Early Access New Mods -
I made two mods while working on my next project mod for release before the end of the year (hopefully November, latest December). I'm not ready to drop hints about it quite yet but within the next few weeks, for sure. I also have a tangentially related Halloween present/mod coming late October/early November.
More Pet Care - I needed a consolidated pet care mod where I could send/go with my pets to take care of basic needs. So with this mod you can take your pets to the vet, fill some needs, get groomed, go to the pet store, go for walks/play dates, go to the breeder, and work on pet training/obedience. If your sim goes on a walk they will earn fitness and also fulfill their need to be outside if they love the outdoors. You can choose multiple pets. Not every interaction fills all pet needs and not all max out. I realized I like pets but never play with them because they're a time suck. This helped! One of these days I'll see if I can add the ability to hire a petsitter.
Career Shortcut Activities - This is the most cheaty mod I've ever made but I needed it while breezing through some playtesting and decided to share in case any of you needed it. What this essentially does is allow for the completion of daily tasks via career activity related rabbit holes. It also will allow for small skill gains related to the careers' promotion requirements during the activity. If you use Kuttoe's Career Overhaul the changed skill requirements are taken into account.

2022-10-26 00:48:23 +0000 UTCI love the home birth mod but can I suggest issuing pain pills after birth. It makes it more realistic since she just gave birth. No disrespect I just wanted to suggest it. Keep doing what you're doing cause I love all your mods!
