The trailer for this was just showing the scene when he's fiddling around the bathroom while Mr.Brown is on the phone, a few tweeks here or there but mostly that was it and just by going by that alone I thought this was going to be so dumb and childish, not even my nieces were thrilled about it but we saw because we wanted to do something and it was the only family movie out and all of us couldn't believe how good it really was. Paddington is such a sweet and fun character that you instantly fall in love with and he's just so cute! The family is also very likable. Nicole Kidman looked like she had a blast playing the villain and I was genuinely surprised by the reveal of her character, I honestly didn't see that coming, Mr. Curry was also a fun side villain, like the ultimate guy version of the Karen, lol. But I liked that he wasn't heartless and even did the right thing by informing the family, he didn't want him to get hurt at all, just wanted me away. I also really love how this film is shot and looks, the style is unique, it almost feels like a pop-up book come to life. I know others will mention it but I highly suggest Paddington 2 as well, I honestly think it's even better.
