I don't know, HS2 is obviously superior in graphics, but at the same time, i still prefer HS1 visually. I don't really know why, can't tell exactly what bothers me in AI/HS2, but there is something there that does not pleases me. I have a great pc, it works perfectly fine, but still, dont like it. And as travswtor said, i already got so much invested in HS1, that is kinda hard to just migrate. Time will tell, but for now it's kinda hard for me to change games

HS2 is just AI Shoujo but with HS1 gameplay and a few new sex positions, graphically it looks ugly and unimpressive and HS1 offers more crisp visuals and no annoying filters. HS1 is far better for character creation and modding, HS2 / AI Shoujo are better for environmental scene creation because of their godrays and filters and lighting.

Tbh I'm not sure. Hs2 uses a different body so none of the clothes can be converted. I always keep the raw files for my characters and expression sculpts so in theory depending on hs2 requirements it may be possible. Right now it's too early to tell.

Is it difficult to move your completed HS work to HS2?

We can't only do Hs for ever.

I will further add that I'm not a huge fan of the AI game engine (which HS2 runs). We'll see, HS1 is awesome with mods anyway ^^

I look forward to HS2 eventually, but It will take many many months until we get even close to HS1 stage mod support

What do you mean by original girls?

in fact, i prefers in HS2 , the graphics of HS1 is too old XD... the light and shadow of AI and HS2 are looks way better .

I'm leaving open the gate to migrate, (AI, I have HS 2 on the way) but the lack of "variety" in girls looks is turning me off a bit and always has me sticking to HS. HS-2 seems the same so far, but will keep up with the mods anyway. Always wishing for some "original" girls aside from all the game port types. But one can always wish.

Maybe it's just me but the only way I will switch to other illusion title's is if they can implement backwards compatibility unto HS1 mods/plugins that's why AI Shoujo or PH never apeal to me because of the lack of mods

I play in VR so I'm gonna have to wait for a GPU upgrade before I can play HS2 XD

Well imo Illusion hurt those games modding wise. I think that is why they weren't as popular. PH had the whole issue with custom characters and in KK all of the texture maps made it difficult to mod.

The problem with most illusion games going forward (imo) is that HS has 6 years of mods behind it. I have a ton of really good head and clothing mods that I wouldn't want to lose out on. All of them look good enough to me in HS. Even if all of the HS modders went to HS2 full time, it would probably be a year or so before I would consider moving. There is also no guarantee that the modders who go HS2 won't hop to whatever illusion game comes out next year just like with PH and KK.

The character customization looks Black Desert Online levels of insane. I guess I‘ll wait for a high heels mod to come out. I also hope it‘s better optimized than HS1...

I am only willing to go if mod support is there. Mods are what make the game even more enjoyable. Without them I feel that it would be not as exciting. Especially with all of the character mods released. All in all, I would wait for the game to gain traction in the mod community and if it does I’ll transition.
