2021-02-02 04:18:49 +0000 UTCI always had troubles with the Android Patreon app for downloading such pictures, I even registered a ticket issue with them, to no avail, the bug is still not corrected. On your issue, I don't have a Mac, but I suggest trying to browse the Patreon website from a different web browser? If you try to watch the downloaded picture with a "smart" software, what kind of error message do you get? Have you tried watching it in a simple text editor (in case it had downloaded an HTML page instead) ?
