2022-06-23 09:50:53 +0000 UTCIkr, Ryun needs to work on his skills some more, get a few 8th or ninth tier skills. I think he can have up to six ninth tier skills when he’s in the Eternal Realm for a ratio of 0/9/6 for his focuses (unless I’m misremembering) without going mad. He still has the skill book from Zenker’s storage as well, so that should provide a solid boost to his Skills and overall Willpower.

2022-06-22 16:47:40 +0000 UTCAnd the sects go to war… Doesn’t Ryun counter runes and their effects? At the very least the rune for protection Kael used? Oblivion completely erases any Essence it touches (provided the intent and will to do so is strong enough) and Vhrom forced Essence to gather in a protective shell, using whatever essence is around not in the firm domain of another being, so Oblivion should be able to punch through with less trouble than anything else. And since runes require the imbuement of soul, just trying to weather through something that erases all will be pretty draining. Just a theory, but it does seem that Oblivion is one of the strongest and rarest essences so we’ll see how it turns out in future battles.
