2020-05-14 21:01:05 +0000 UTCNot really, some of them definitely aren't canon, look at OVA 2 that is set in a completely different universe or OVA 3 that makes time travel magic a thing that you can randomly find in a book or the crossover OVA. Others build upon and fit with canon without disrupting anything but they aren't necessarily canon and are still mostly anime only material, like Fairies' Training Camp and others adapt and extend Omake chapters, some of which like OVA 2 definitely aren't canon, while others, like Fairies' Penalty Game, can be counted as canon. Well then there is still the outlier of OVA 5 that is straight up adapting a left out manga chapter. So you really can't generalize those OVAs

Also, I just know the fifth OVA is gonna be your favourite one...for many reasons 馃槒馃槀 Another thing which I think is funny is how many FT fans don鈥檛 even know these OVA鈥檚 exist, esp dub viewers since these eps exist in subbed only.
