Yeah. Plus there's the fact he's the third child after Perospero and Compote. If they had a kid it would have had to have been around their falling out so their kid would most likely be the oldest. And I just doubt Perospero is Kaido's son.

the one problem with the katakuri being their kid theory is that he's one of three (triplets.) so Oven and Daifuku (however you spell it) would have to be kaidos kids too. if it were just katakuri i would buy the theory but no way Oda would make all 3 kaidos kids

This pandemic virus is really getting out of control to the point where it’s even affecting Toonami (regardless if you even still watch that or not) and ruining what is now since 2018 officially god of war day. Some parts are as good or better in the anime but yeah the manga is just generally superior. They are doing well with Hyou I think though the voice acting and being able to draw out the dango stuff is working well

Pacing stuff aside, the anime did very good with this episode in general. Maybe because I have the value of hindsight too but the stuff with hyo being given more time to play out really makes it quite impactful, and I already like his character more in the anime than the manga (even though I thought he was fine in the manga)
