But even if it actually didnt increase his hatred or he wasnt influenced in any kind by magic itself but by words only he was still brainwashed on a high level. So its quite tricky to call it "his own fault" because actually he is/was a nice dude. I actually wonder though if Nirvana actually had some effect on him while he release it.
