Another update
Added 2020-03-31 02:44:13 +0000 UTCHey guys So I am working on getting Bleach, Prison School and Fairy Tail uploaded.
I had a guy from Charter Spectrum come to check my internet sadly even though I am upgraded to the fullest level of internet due to high traffic they told me until the company themselves adds more "nodes" (I think they said) to break up the volume of traffic my upload speed is capped at max 5mbps and my currently ranges from 2-4 when I should get 20mbps.
He didn't know when they would actually do it but for now I have to directly plug into my modem and deal with the speed I have because they can't do much more to help.. So my hope is gone now.
So anyways working on the upload, bleach will be up soon then I will start to upload Prison School and Fairy Tail
Comments
U should come live in Sweden mine is 20$ 50mb upload 😂😂

2020-03-31 17:59:27 +0000 UTCYeah, you're right, not everywhere, you have this. But there are 14 other european countries which have faster internet than France. The prices are for the first year, then it's 10€ higher but you can change internet provider once a year without problem. I don't know what people consider as big cities or small towns. I'm living in a 90000 inhabitants town, for me, it's a small town, it's ranked 47 in France per population I think. There are 300+ american countries which have more. People living in countryside or in villages don't have access to optic fiber yet for the majority. It will cover 80% of population by 2023 and 100% by 2025 hopefully. But the prices in the US are insane, that's 2.5 to 5 times more than France (which is one of the cheapest in Europe actually, my bad*)

2020-03-31 11:56:19 +0000 UTCDude u make it sound as if in france and europe everyone has cheap and fast internet which is absolutely wrong. The prices u are talking about are most likely the once u pay for the first 10 months or so, after that it almost doubles. And especially the max speed like 200/400/etc. mbps isnt something u get everywhere lol. Usually only big cities have that. The avarage citizen has ~30 mbps at top, some dont even have 16mbps. Sure it seems that in the us the prices seems to be slighlty higher than here but dont make it sound as if we get hyper fast internet almost for free. Lets be real in avarage u pay around 40bucks for 100-200mbps

2020-03-31 08:09:56 +0000 UTCHey, thanks for the heads up. And I wouldn't hold out hope… Cable companies and ISPs are notoriously corrupt and really bad at expanding service. Their main MO is to rip people off as much as they can while investing as little as possible infrastructure. A large part of why privatizing infrastructure is often a bad idea as building out lines is too high a barrier of entry for true competition to solve the market. :/ It sucks. But thanks to this update we know the situation™. That helps a ton. And on top of that, none of it is your fault.

2020-03-31 06:18:30 +0000 UTCI'm paying $65 US in California (where I think she lives) for 100mbps down

2020-03-31 04:47:52 +0000 UTCHow much cost Internet in the USA ? It looks kinda expensive for mediocre services. Here in France, we have 4 big internet provider and the price for optic fiber is about 17-25$/month for 200/400/1000+mbps download and 60/200/600+mbps upload speed. Even in small town and apartments. We have also 4g Box for people which have a slow connection. So for around 35$/month, you still get a fast connection. And it some europeans countries, it's better and costs even less.

2020-03-31 03:27:44 +0000 UTCThe ethernet cable doesn't really make a difference, I did a speed test for both the download speed gets higher when plugged in but the upload stays the same maybe goes up like .4 or .5

2020-03-31 03:26:50 +0000 UTCI’d try out sprint. It’s a good provider. I’ve yet to have any problems with it.

2020-03-31 03:26:14 +0000 UTCDang, that sucks. If you get a chance to switch providers, and it's available, you should check out Verizon Fios. A bit more expensive, but worth it (at least in my case).

2020-03-31 02:50:49 +0000 UTCSee this is why I have my own internet 😆 but it's still kinda trash with only up to 25mps (AT&T) 🤷♂️
2020-03-31 02:50:35 +0000 UTCThe max I can get in my area is 20mbps too. But since he said it was capped for everyone at like 5 I guess paying for even more would not be helpful

2020-03-31 02:48:39 +0000 UTCwait , have you been uploading all this time without an ethernet cable?
Miguel
2020-03-31 02:48:05 +0000 UTCWe completely understand. With the times we are going through people will overload the bandwidth. Just do what you can and that’s fine with us. Thanks for the update.
