2020-03-27 07:38:39 +0000 UTCThis season has 24 episodes and ends in an odd spot. There are so many twists still. They do keep things from the viewer because they pay it back ten fold later on. Ban is upset because every time he has tried to fight recently, he has not been able to do anything, while everyone else is significantly stronger.

Zeldris has four, Estarossa and Meliodas each have one. So that's six. Melascula and Galand are incapacitated, and only Melascula is being semi-guarded by Merlin. Monspeet and Derieri are the only two that will actually take effort to acquire, and each of them only have one heart and seem to not care about fighting anymore living in that villager's house.

They are too powerful to be able to materialize 100% in the world to begin with, hence why they are in their "own" separate dimensions from the world itself

Everyone else got massive powerups while he's been stuck behind. Plus he still doesn't even have his sacred treasure. Like even Elaine is stronger than Ban now.
