I'm not sure if you know, but the "holding the index finger up" sign is actually a Fairy Tail thing they've been using since ep 1, and it really came from Laxus. He was never around and didn't really care about guild gatherings, so he didn't know they were using it. These episodes were awesome, and don't worry you'll see a lot more of Mystogan and Laxus, and I am pretty sure you'll start to love the Thunder dragonslayer even more. He is really a beast, if you think about it, with the Thunder Palace he actually beat most of the guild. Natsu technically lost when Gajeel had to save him, if it was a one on one. Mira, Erza and Mystogan are powerfull, but unless they go three against one they'll lose in my opinion. Makarov is a beast, and it is a question at this point just how much gap is between the two. If only there was an other strong member everyone has forgotten about, but who knows, maybe we should ask Kana. Anyway, loved the reaction, Laxus is favorite as always, patiently waiting for the next one, thanks!

The next two episodes are filler and the one after that is a self contained episode so if you are going to watch the filler it would be best to watch the next 3 together. The next arc starts after that.

There are a fair few plotholes in this series, but, I suspect the body link magic that hit Erza maxes out at a certain point. What she got hit with did not seem to equal x200 what the others got hit with.

The Fantasia parade at the end with Laxus is easily in my top 10 favourite moments in the entire series. I remember bawling my eyes out when that scene came on. It was sad but also beautiful and heartwarming, the perfect way to end this arc. You’ll see Laxus eventually again, so don’t worry lol. About Mystogans’ identity, you’ll have to wait quite a bit before that mystery is solved...they’ll take their time so until then you’ll have to live in confusion just like all of us were back then 😁
