Sounds like manga luffy is boring AF. As an anime only viewer, i could spin that and say that sounds like the manga makes fights seem unentertaining since nothing actually happens in fights. it's not fun if everything is completely one sided, isn't that what Saitama taught us

As much as I hate to say this since it ruins the enjoyment of the anime, I still want to say it. So what I hate about the anime is that they showed Batman to be kind stronger than Zoro and Luffy by having them have so much problem and struggle with the kaido's sensei's infinit arrows while in the manga they just left batman in the dust and went after tama. Also, the anime is showing Luffy to be reckless and keep on making mistakes in the previous episodes and now, it also shows that Luffy really didn't have much character development and progression, after all the sacrifices other people did for him and the things he went through in whole cake island to get away from a weakened emperor. While in the manga Luffy is serious and doesn't make much reckless moves or make stupid decisions like he is keep on doing right now. There are more problems that I want to talk about but you are still behind 2 or 3 episodes on that.

Your reaction to these episodes are as great as always, and I agree that it's a good time to slow down a bit. However, after this next group of 2 episodes (902-903) you'll want to do one video of three (904-906). That will take you to the special anniversary episode on 907. It'll be up to you if you want to record it as its own separate video or if you want it to start off the regular episode reaction, but i don't think that you want to use it to end a video reaction as it doesn't really have anything to do with the current arc (despite how good it is.) That should be the last disruption to your pace before you catch up to the rest of us.

Otama is such a sweetheart so I found myself raging hard that Luffy let her get kidnapped so easily. Luffy's name even muttered in the same sentence of the Emperor of the Sea is a joke. Luffy's bounty is also a joke. Like I was really digging how Luffy is really perceiving the hints of what Otama has gone through based on her reaction to some lousy red bean soup. His rage was my rage and then we just get utter crap in his response to her getting swiped ... I was expecting an instant transmision style "the fuck you think your doing" moment with him shutting down that queer fucker.
