The funny thing about Luffy getting knocked down repeatedly, and your impatience and frustration with it is this is actually the only fight Luffy has had that's been right to the point. No dumb dance of Luffy screwing around getting TO the baddie. He's actually there from the get-go having the actual fight.

Pacing issues? People keep complaining about it all the time. I am not sure if people understand but the anime tends to extend much as it can with the story with repetitive stuff and etc why? Because its catching up to the Manga. It may get annoying but it is what it is. Why do you think fillers exist most of the time. Anyways people need to stop whining about pacing so much! LOL

Hey SMF, I have a suggestion incase no one has said it already. Once you catch up to the anime, why not do One Piece reactions MONTHLY so you are able to do it in chunks. That way, you could focus more on other anime reactions to bring in more patron members to donate to you monthly....like Cowboy Bebop for example😅

Now that you are getting close to the reverie arc i would really recommend that you either watch the one pace version of the arc or read the manga. It is an amazing arc but toei animation ruined it with massive amounts of flashback fillers, it is really sad considering how important the arc is to the story.

Debatable. One can easily argue that One PIece openings actually have more impact after you have watched the scenes from the episodes because the song typically flows with the mood of the arc and glimpses of key moments shown in the OP. Tying things you felt strongly about in the show to music often brings those feelings back all over again.

Just 11 more episodes to go till the end of Whole Cake Island arc is done. Hopefully you've been paying attention to the comments and are not going to do the next reaction at 4 episodes long like you have been, otherwise not only are you going to end up with even more unsavory stopping points but also you're gonna shoot right past the end of the arc on your 3rd reaction. your best option is to do the next at 3 episodes long. That'll put you back on track (much like the Rocketman sea-train in the Enis Lobby arc) and you'll be able to resume your 4-episode reaction until the end which has to be seen to be believed. Honestly, each and every member of the Straw Hats has been awesome the last few dozen episodes, and the best is yet to come. Have tissues ready. To reiterate, episodes 870 and 871 really need to be kept together, but if you add them to the end of your next reaction you're gonna have to change your entire gameplan in order to end on the final episode of the arc, episode 877. Therefore you should keep this next reaction a bit shorter than usual, afterwards resuming your 4-episode pace until the end.

except she's not gonna want to stop at 870, It'll be better for her to make the next reaction 3 episodes long, stopping at 869. If she instead went on to 871 then there's no way she could maintain the pace 4 episodes per reaction and end it at the end of the arc: she'll ether need to break it down into two 3-episode reactions or else lump it together into a massive 6-episode one. Also, shooting past the end really isn't an option for her as the reaction would feel too disjointed, so one with 3 episodes then resuming at 4 ones is the better choice for her.
