I cant remember which ep it was but I remember her saying something like "you guys are lucky it wasn't a full moon tonight." Its seriously amazing. Oda can make you care for characters you NEVER thought you would. When the Supernovas were introduced Gang Bege was literally at the bottom of the list of the ones I had any interest in. Then when he appeared in Zou he just appeared to be the typical villain he looked like. Then the rest of the arc happened and Bege ends up one of the MVPs of the arc. What a genius storyteller Oda is.

Well thing is when it comes to haki… which is willpower... which is basicly same as being stubborn... and who is more stubborn than Luffy so it makes sense that in the end he is going to become the strongest haki user and able to use all these advanced haki powers as you can learn to use them... only special haki that cant be learned is kings haki that he also has.

Also im not sure if Oda is gonna use it as canon in the future, but there are images of a globe of the OP planet and it has multiple moons around so Sulong can potentially be used a bit more frequently than...however many times a full moon happens irl, i forget

I can't imagine how powerful sulong form Nekomamushi and Inuarashi would be. They were already stalemating jack (although they took turns fighting ) in their normal form, and we saw how much more powerful carrot got from sulong.

Its still a double edged sword even if she is able to control it. It can still cause severe exhaustion if used for too long. So if she doesnt revert back (for whatever reason) to her normal she can even die as well.

I was sceptical about her at first, because we already had a fur member with chopper and she doesnt really have a sad story like the rest. And I kind of couldnt see it working with her being a fangirl all the time. But the longer she traveled with them the more i realized how well she matches. Carrot joining the strawhats I could totally see it happening. She meshes well with the Straw Hats and took up a position (Lookout) that the crew hasn't filled yet (which is more than what could be said for most tag-along characters). Even her power is not to be underestimated. Also perdro told her why its important to save the straw hats and that one day they will bring about the dawn of the world, likely that she can fulfill Pedro's will by being right there with the strawhats. And wouldnt it be nice to have a woman on the crew who would join in with the shenanigans of Luffy/Usopp/Chopper, or get directly involved in the fighting (Nami and Robin tend to keep their distance)? THe arc you were thinking of it was the Summit war just before Shabody Park, when the Straw Hats were helping Camie the mermaid rescue Hachi from Duval and his fish-rider team of then slavers. As for the Sulong transformation, in many ways it's like Chopper's Monster Point transformation. If you remember before the timeskip Chopper required 3 Rumble Balls to change into his monstrous form, and back then it was dangerous for everyone because he would attack whoever he saw, enemy or ally, and he would keep doing so until he was knocked out of it or he ran out of energy and died. After training for two years, however, he could achieve Monster Point with only 1 Rumble Ball which transforms him for 3 minutes (the length of time the drug previously gave him his other forms for) and he's able to control himself the entire time, the only side effect that afterwards he's physically drained for a while. Same thing with Sulong, except their trigger is the light from an unobscured full moon. Other than that the similarities are uncanny: those who are not properly trained will attack everyone upon transformation and will fight until they die, and those who are trained can maintain control but will be exhausted afterwards.

Episode 862 is one of my favorites from Whole Cake Island arc! When I watched that episode, I had been read the chapter she transforms in the manga and still enjoyed it a lot. After that I was like: “Oda, please! Make Carrot a Straw Hat, she will fit in the crew and the Sulong transformation is absolutely awesome!! Let her join after Jinbe.”
