Exactly, it was the surgery that Judge Vinsmoke forced the mother to undergo that caused the brothers' emotionally distorted personalities to be what they are, they're literally unable to help it. Sanji was able to escape it because he got the full effects of that toxic drug Sora took to counteract it. I feel most for Reiju, however, as it seems she was modified AFTER she was born, And while she seems to have retained some emotions she also seems to be aware of what she's lost and that she's rather self-loathing. I hope that things will become better for her after this arc's over.

so there was a moment at the very beginning of episode 825 that you missed, It was probably skipped because it was believed to be simply a recap of the end of episode 824: it wasn't, it was actually showing those events from Luffy's perspective, including how the fight actually ended (which we didn't get to see in 824). Now like last time there seems to be some lag or other delay that has you posting one reaction while you're recording the next. Fortunately this next group has some flexibility in how the reactions can be broken up. Regardless of what episode you ended you next OP reaction on, though, I recommend that the one after that end on episode 832 with the one following consisting of episodes 833-835. No matter what, however, you NEED to keep episodes 836-838 together, even if it makes the reaction a bit long. So prepare for plenty of Oda moments in the episodes to come, I can hardly wait to experience them again through your eyes. Until then...

That's exactly what I was thinking... LOL. I mean, I think what made ep. 825 so iconic in the series was the amazing linkage between Luffy and Sanji, how they got to solve their porblems and how their firendship evolved to "best bros for life" and not a small teaser at the end about a character that we know really nothing about at this point, just to be fair.
