There was no nightfall on Dressrosa and the events were continuous So it did happen all in 1 day,but you know that they rested for 3 days after Doflamingo was defeated,and then they traveled all the way to Zou which apparently took another 8 days to get us to this point.

Also, keep in mind they pointed out the Elephant was traveling away from them, meaning Sanji and the crew could have arrived much quicker than Luffy.

The battle in Dressrosa happened in a day but there was a couple days of recovery and sailing to Zou took a week for Luffys group. One Piece doesn't elaborate on it much, but always assume a few days pass off screen whenever the crew is just sailing from one place to the next

The moment I read Gum-Gum I knew this was a bad sub that translates names and attacks to literal English without consideration for the context. The subbers are either just normies that just know both japanese and english, or they're dub watchers. I'm surprised they didn't translate 'Nami' to 'Waves' or 'Tears' :P

I'm a bit annoyed that they translated the names of the two rulers without spelling them out. The proper name of "Duke Dogstorm" is Inuarashi whereas "Duke Cat Viper" is actually called Nekomamushi. Those are the names that they're addressed with by the characters. The translation is not relevant at any point whatsoever.
